Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: October 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any relocation, packaging, auto transport, or storage services with Agarwal Best Packers and Movers. By confirming a booking verbally, digitally, or in writing, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking Confirmation & Quotations
All quotations are formulated based on the inventory list declared by the customer or surveyed by our supervisor. If additional items not listed in the initial survey are presented on loading day, additional charges for labor, packing materials, and truck capacity will be added.
2. Payment Terms
- Local Moves (within Hyderabad): A nominal advance token is payable upon confirmation, with the balance due immediately upon completion of unloading at destination.
- Intercity & Domestic Moves: Token advance upon confirmation, 80% upon loading and issuance of the Consignment Note (Bilty), and the remaining balance upon delivery prior to unloading.
- Payments can be made via UPI, NEFT/IMPS bank transfer, or cash against an official receipt.
3. Consignment Inventory & Inspection
A physical inventory list is prepared by our supervisor during packing. The customer or their authorized representative must verify the count, sign the inventory sheet before vehicle departure, and sign off on delivery. Any missing or damaged items must be recorded on the delivery copy at the time of delivery.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Articles
The following articles must NOT be handed over for transportation under any circumstances:
- Liquid fuels, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, and motor oils.
- Compressed gases, filled LPG cylinders, and oxygen canisters.
- Explosives, firearms, fireworks, and hazardous chemicals.
- Gold jewelry, precious stones, physical cash, share certificates, and title deeds.
- Perishable dairy products and unpackaged food items.
5. Carrier Liability & Transit Insurance
While our crew exercises high standards of packaging and care, unpredictable highway risks (severe weather, road collisions, strikes) are beyond carrier control. We strongly recommend all customers opt for comprehensive transit insurance. Carrier liability for uninsured goods is strictly capped according to the Indian Carriage by Road Act rules.
6. Delays & Force Majeure
Delivery schedules provided are realistic estimates. We are not liable for transit delays caused by force majeure events, including extreme monsoon flooding, national highway blockages, regional strikes, or official state transport department inspections.
7. Legal Jurisdiction
Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of this relocation contract shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent civil courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
